I usually stop here as this gives me four rounds (no label, red, yellow, green) which is usually enough to find the images I like. Do the same process except this time change the label to green. Once you have gone through your pictures and have either rejected or selected:ġ. Say you have a lot of images and want to go through them several times to reduce your selection. Again, use “x” and “p” to select or reject the ones you do not like. To compare similar images, select them all and click “n” for survey mode which puts several images side by side. You can then filter your results to show your selected images (bottom toolbar Filter/Flagged or View/Show filter bar then click on Attribute in the filter bar and then select the white flag). This is all you need to do for a small selection. This means as soon as you click on a rating, the program automatically advances to the next picture, this saves you time and 50% of your keyboard clicks (which for a lifetime is a hell of a lot of button presses you save your joints from having to press). Make sure “Auto Advance” is on (menu: Photo/auto advance – when on you should see a tick next to it). “u” or right arrow key is for images you are undecided about. You can also delete images directly leaving only the ones you wish to keep.
